Opinel Knife N°218 Chief Intempora

For cutting, slicing and mincing meat. For dicing, slicing, chopping and carving vegetables into strips and batons.
The curved cutting edge means food can be sliced with a flicking motion. The blade remains rigid and stable when cutting. The continuous cutting edge frees up the heel of the blade and makes sharpening easier.
We use modified Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chromium and does not require special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives an excellent cutting edge. Blade hardness 57-58 HRC.
The molded handle is made of fiberglass polyoxymethylene which ensures excellent wear and water resistance and excellent impact resistance. Thanks to its curved shape and triangular profile, it provides a secure and comfortable grip.
The full-tang blade runs the length of the handle. The knife is sturdy and well balanced.
