Opinel Knife N°222 Meat & Poultry Intempora
For all meat lovers!!!
Its short blade and stiff blade are perfect for separating flesh from bones, removing sinew and fat from meat. The handle protects the hand from the cutting edge of the blade for added safety.
The handle is extremely resistant to temperature, water and shock.
The curved edge means food can be sliced in one go. The blade remains rigid and stable when cutting. The continuous cutting edge frees up the heel of the blade and makes sharpening easier.
We use modified Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chromium and does not require special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives an excellent cutting edge. Blade hardness 57-58 HRC.
The molded handle is made of fiberglass polyoxymethylene which ensures excellent wear and water resistance and excellent impact resistance. Thanks to its curved shape and triangular profile, it provides a secure and comfortable grip.
The full blade runs the length of the handle. The knife is sturdy and well balanced.
