Opinel Knife N°219 Santoku Intempora
Adaptable and durable, the Santoku knife is commonly used for cutting and slicing. It is perfect for preparing fish and shellfish.
At 3mm thick, the full-touch blade runs the length of the handle. The knife is sturdy and well balanced. After cutting, the wide blade can wipe the finished food off the board.
We use modified Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chromium and does not require special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives an excellent cutting edge. Blade hardness 57-58 HRC.
The molded handle is made of fiberglass polyoxymethylene which ensures excellent wear and water resistance and excellent impact resistance. Thanks to its curved shape and triangular profile, it provides a secure and comfortable grip.
The full blade runs the length of the handle. The knife is sturdy and well balanced.
