Opinel Knife N°09 DIY Yellow
The smart knife tool essential for your tool bag, car and office.
Its extremely robust blade is equipped with a wire cutter (max. wire diameter 5 mm) and wire stripper (max. wire diameter 1.8 mm). The handle includes two screwdriver bits.
We use modified Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chromium and does not require special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives an excellent cutting edge. Blade hardness 57-58 HRC.
Polyamide reinforced with fiberglass for shock and moisture resistance, with two integrated tips: flat screwdriver (4 mm screws) and Phillips screwdriver (3.5 to 5 mm screws), magnetized tip base.
Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all N° 06 folding knives. Cut from stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport).
