Opinel Knife Pencil case N°08 Mushroom + sheath
The perfect tool for picking up morles, chanterelles, chanterelles and trumpets.
The handle is equipped with a boar bristle brush and a serrated back blade.
A must for mushroom lovers.
We use modified Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chromium and does not require special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives an excellent cutting edge. Blade hardness 57-58 HRC.
Our oak comes from France. It is hard wood, very resistant, including insects and fungi thanks to the high content of tannins. It has a yellow-brown appearance, with normal veins.
Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all N° 06 folding knives. Cut from stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport).
