Opinel Knife N°08 Outdoor Earth-Green
It resists everything, nothing can resist it.
Its very strong blade (2.5mm thick) is serrated over 3.5cm to cut natural or synthetic ropes and has a hook wrench for 4 to 10mm ties. Its handle is waterproof and withstands extreme temperatures. It is equipped with a whistle.
Martensitic stainless steel with high hardness due to nitrogen addition (0.15%) and superior corrosion resistance due to high chromium content (16%).
Polyamide reinforced with fiberglass to withstand shock, moisture and extreme temperatures (-40°C - +80°C). Rock-free survival whistle works in all weather conditions (110 decibels).
Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all N° 06 folding knives. Cut from stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport).
