Opinel Knife N°08 Bushwhacker Red + Sheath

Its perforated handle and lace make it convenient to hang.
The stainless steel blade is corrosion resistant. The handle is comfortable in the hand. The safety system, Virobloc®, blocks the blade in open and closed position.
We use modified Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chromium and does not require special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives an excellent cutting edge. Blade hardness 57-58 HRC.
Sourced from French forests, this white wood with few veins is ideal for color application. The handle is varnished to protect against moisture and dirt.
Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all N° 06 folding knives. Cut from stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport).
