Opinel Knife N°09 Walnut Wood
N°09 walnut: a generous pocket knife.
The N°09 Walnut Wood pocket knife is your trusted companion for day trips with friends or family, picnics and outdoor meals. This knife can be used in all situations and will quickly become an essential accessory.
The walnut handle on the N°09 is full of character and oversized for a great grip, while the 9cm blade and 2.2mm thickness offer excellent cutting quality and ease of use. The blade is made of 12C27M stainless steel which requires little maintenance and ensures unwavering quality over time.
This model is also available in oak and olive wood.
This knife can be personalized.
We use modified Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chromium and does not require special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives an excellent cutting edge. Blade hardness 57-58 HRC.
This French wood is yellow brown or gray brown. Often has dark veins.
Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all N° 06 folding knives. Cut from stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport).
