Dinos Simeonidis was born in 1964 in Constantinople. He studied law at the University of Athens and at the same time became a scuba diving instructor. He taught at the Hellenic Underwater Activity Federation and at private diving schools. He settled for 2 years in Guadeloupe to establish a model diving center. He has published two books on the fauna and flora of the seabeds of the Caribbean and recently, in France, a complete guide to the seabeds of the Mediterranean. He works as an underwater photographer for an international news agency. Specialized in the underwater inhabitants and the problems of the Mediterranean, he writes articles in foreign and Greek magazines.
